Can I add an automated notification after document approved state an annual review will trigger?

There are a few ways you can achieve a notification for a transition:

• First would be the one @Septa Cahyadiputra mentioned, adding a post notification.
• If you want a Custom notification, you'll need to create a custom event and trigger a post notification to trigger that event
• Use Jira Automation, when the transition happens use the send mail action to send a mail to a set of users.

You should be able to use post-function notification in your workflow as described in details here:

Post-function in your workflow can be configured easily during transition to approved. Do I understand your question correctly? Could you elaborate it better, maybe screenshot of your workflow diagram can help us understand it better.

Hi @stephanie nacion , I expect we can get you to your requirements. However, I am unclear about the last part - "an annual review will trigger", can you elaborate on your use case?

you can certainly schedule a rule to run annually and you an certainly send various notifications when an issue transitions into any status, e.g. Approved.
