Can a PowerBi license be utilized for the Jira PowerBi connector app?

The company already has a PowerBi license and have been looking into using Power Bi to setup Jira dashboards.  Seeing as we already pay for Jira AND for PowerBi, would the subscription cost to the PowerBi connector for Jira be necessary?

We do propose a connector to extract the data from Jira to Power BI, which is free for up to 10 users. After that, you'll need to purchase a license :)

The short answer is no, you cannot get the app for free just because you pay for PowerBI and Jira. The app vendor is separate from Microsoft and Atlassian, so you would still have to purchase a license for the app.
