Can't create EMail-Channel

We want to use a EMail-Channel by using an IMAP-Mail; I know the user and password, but I can't create the Email-Channel because I get the following errormessage: "AUTHENTICATE failure, cannot convert mailbox: You are not authorized to perform that operation".

What could be the reason?

Hi @Stark Jürgen 

Welcome. It could be just that is that the user may have limited permission or something definitely wrong with he authentication to the IMAP mail  server. This message is coming from your IMAP server.
