Cannot see the contents in the JSM customer portal in a general browser except a private browser

Ellyot Rhee April 30, 2025

I created a Jira JSM customer portal and set permissions for the JSM customer portal and Confluence to have anonymous access. However, in a general browser, a "Something bad happened" message appears, but in a private (or Incognito) browser, the content set to anonymous is displayed normally. Why is this happening, and do I need something configured in the JSM?Something_bad_happened.png

Hi @Ellyot Rhee

If incognito works.

Then there could be an issue related to cookies and cache or browser extensions that you might have in use.

Clear cache and cookies and/or disable browser extensions.

Hi @Ellyot Rhee

If it works in incognito I would suspect it might be an cache or session related error. Clearing cache and cookies in your browser might resolve that error message
