Connecting more than one domain to a single Azure AD sync

We have linked a single domain from our o365 tenancy to an Azure AD sync Identity Provider.

We now wish to add a second authorised domain from our tenancy into JIRA, but am finding the process impossible.

I need to add the domain first - I wish to choose "Azure AD Sync" to verify the domain, but I can't choose the existing AD sync we have set-up -> it takes me back to the Identity Providers screen to create a new Identity Provider, which I don't wish to do.

There is no option to use the existing one.

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction please?

Welcome to the community.

I'm not 100% sure (reach out to Atlassian Support to be sure), but I think that when you just add a new domain, you 2nd step would be:

• Open Security in Atlassian Admin
• Choose Identity Providers -> You should see your current one
• By selecting the 3 dots and the option "Link domain", you are directed to your domain page and are able to link an additional domain to your IDP

As said I'm not 100% sure, I would advise to confirm this with Atlassian

However, my issue isn't linking the domain initially - the issue is adding a new domain in the first place.

We have multiple email domains registered within our O365 tenancy, and we have set up one of those to link to our Azure AD sync identity provider. We now wish to add further domains from our tenancy and I was expecting to just be able to add them to the same identity provider, but when I choose to use Azure AD sync to verify the domain, I am not given the choice to use the existing Azure AD sync we have configured - I am taken to the page to create a new one.

I have logged a call with Atlassian also, but no response as yet.
