Hi
I am trying to take the normalized field I created to effort and to multiply its value according to the following rules set:
A Jira costume formula that will create the following rule set, using Normalized Effort input: 1=1 2=10 3=20 4=40 5=90

Can you please suggest a way to create this formula?

Hi @Guy Riesenberg, welcome to the community! :-)

I think you're talking about Jira Product Discovery, right?

If you haven't found it already, check out the JPD group. Lots of helpful info there, and the product team is also really active and responsive.

About your question: it sounds like you have a field of type rating, and you want to calculate another field with a custom formula, which so to say adds a weighting to the rating field (1=1, 2=10, ...), right?

I believe you cannot do this right now.

As per this post, you could try to use a select or multi-select field for this purpose. It just won't look & feel like a rating field, or course.
