I'm trying to find a way to export all tickets in a project, including all fields for those tickets, to a CSV file so I can report analytics on reporters, assignees, components, labels, and descriptions.
So far, I've tried creating a custom report, but every time I add fields to it and save, the added fields are removed and I get a line graph over time.
I tried creating a custom dashboard, but it only shows me a limited number of labels created, and has no options for adding descriptions, components, assignees, etc.
I believe I might be over-engineering a solution. Surely, there must be an out-of-the-box solution to export the details of all tickets for a project.
You just need a super basic filter with search criteria as the project name.
When you click Export you want to select Export Excel CSC (all fields). This will give you every field associated with the ticket.

Thank you! I stumbled upon this solution in my research and have made the customizations I need for my own metrics.

Is CSV a hard requirement for your analytics goals? If a native Excel output would work as well, you can try Better Excel Exporter which can export the issues (tickets) with their fields from the Issue Navigator screen.
Better Excel Exporter is more than just an exporter app. It comes with pre-built report templates for different purposes. You can find a comprehensive overview of Jira Service Management Excel reporting options in this blog.
(Please note that Better Excel Exporter is a paid and supported app and I'm part of the team developing it.)
