When a customer clicks "View Request" in an email it opens a webpage requesting a login/account creation. How can I change the settings so the customer does not have to create an account?
In projects settings > customer permissions, under "choose who can send requests to (...), you can choose the option "anyone with an account on https:// (...)". So, your customer doesn't need a login, but it will be open for everyone that has the link.
Please, Let me know if it works for you.
While a customer can use email to create and comment on requests they would have to login to view requests in the portal. Any link provided with in the email will resolve to the portal. Without logging in there would be no way of knowing what to display to a user.
