Data Connector Issue with Sentinel

I have been attempting to establish a data connector between the JIRA Audit and Microsoft Sentinel. From the Sentinel side it appears the connector was deployed successfully. I confirmed the URL, account name and key with our JIRA admin. We even disabled IP restrictions to see if that may be affecting this, but no data is coming in. I even deleted and recreated a new data connector (Azure functions), but still not seeing data.

Do you have a way we can troubleshoot on the Atlassian side what the issue could be? Because I am not seeing any issues on my side. I opened a Microsoft ticket to see if there is anything I am missing on the Sentinel side. Any suggestions you can provide would be appreciated.

Hi @Mike Korelski

To troubleshoot connectivity issues, test the Jira Audit Log API using manual API calls with a tool like Postman. This will help determine if data is accessible outside of Microsoft Sentinel.

  • If the API returns no data despite correct configuration, collect relevant connector logs and contact Atlassian Support for further assistance. This step will help identify if the issue lies with Jira, even if Microsoft Sentinel reports a successful deployment.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
