Do we need to setup our jira link to be assessed externally when setting up oAuth v 2.0 with MS

Dear support,

Our Jira's email request stop working recently and we think that is probably due to the disabling of password basic authentication in Microsoft exchange online.

We have followed the steps on Jira's documentation to setup the oAuth v2.0 but it is not connecting to the Ms Exchange online after the setup.

Can we ask the question here if our Jira site has to be setup with public access + third party SSL, in order for the oAuth 2.0 working so we can make use of the Jira's email request feature?

Our site can be accessed only internally at the moment with self-signed certificate.
