Hey guys,
i'm wondering whether the default administrator on jira service desk (server) consumes an agent license.
For my use-case the smallest offer 10 USD for 3 agent licenses would be sufficient, but i'm not willing to give one of the 3 supporters the system administrator permissions.
Can anybody help
Hi, @Ralf Dahmen !
At first, jira-administrator will need a license(jira-servicedesk-users) because you need to configure the JSD-project (JSD attributes: SLA's, Queues, Portal settings, etc).
When project will be configured and ready to start working - you can remove jira-administrator from group(jira-servicedesk-users). Then jira-admin couldn't configure JSD-attributes.
Hello Ralf, Administrators do not necessarily need an agent license, but they will at least need a Jira license. You can read more here
