I have some failed requests in emailed request projects, but not sure why it is getting failed.
Error states, user doesn'y having permission to the project.
But user is in Jira with agent and customer access. Also customer permission is open.
Wanted to know what would be the reason and how can we avoid this in future ?
Since the user with that email has application access, i guess it's checking The Browse Project permission (and not taking into account he's also a customer).
You should check the roles that have the Browse Project permission in your project and make sure that user has any of those roles.
did you check the permission helper to see if something is wrong?
