Hi,
We have noticed inconsistencies when exporting information from a Jira filter using the Apps -> Open in Microsoft Excel feature. In our workspace we manage a project called "Apertura de EY como proveedor".
We use this filter (see at the end) to generate reports in Excel desktop format. However, our internal client has reported the following recurring issues:
This issue occurs intermittently. Some weeks, the exported information is accurate, but other times the same issues resurface, impacting the reliability of the generated reports.
Although we´ve tried resolving this on our end, but the issue persists. We would appreciate guidance on the following questions:
We truly appreciate your assistances in helping us resolve this issue.
I attached two samples how seems the generated report:
Thanks and regards!

First of all, the “Nombre del Cliente” field, what type of field is it?
Columns in Excel appear duplicated when the same field has more than one option. For example a select List multiple option.
Regarding data intermittency, I do not have a solution at first glance, but I would suggest doing tests by exporting tickets that you know show data in that field, and tickets that are not being shown to you to compare and find the error that is generating what you are experiencing. you propose.
I remain available. Greetings
Hi @Mariano Tallarico _Appricity_
To clarify; "Nombre del cliente" is a short text field, not a selectable field. Therefore, it should not duplicate, as it doesn´t allow multiple options.
Additionally, we want to emphasize that this field ir required for all tickets in this project, meaning it is always populated and can never be null. Despite this, we´ve consistently seen instances where the column appears duplicated in the Excel desktop report, with neither of duplicated columns showing data, even though the information is complete and visible in Jira.
Could this be related to the export function bug? We´d appreciate further guidance on how to resolve this issue.
Thank you in advance!
