Good day,

We would like to edit the content of the emails when a ticket has been opened, or when has been closed, or when is pending...where in the administration menu we can go to do it ?

We have tried to do it through: Project Configuration -> Customer notifications

Please, can you give us some light on it ?

Cheers,

Jordi Garcia

If you would like a more advanced email configuration option than the native one, check out our app Notification Assistant for Jira

Hi Jordi,

There's two places where notifications can be configured.

One is on a per-project basis where you are able to change the content of the emails sent. This one is in the Project settings, under Customer notifications like you found.

But the main actor of notifications is the Notification scheme which is global and not for just one project.

The problem is, this one can't be easily modified.

This article described how to do it in the DC version of JSM. It's not an easy task.

This article explains how to do it in Cloud.

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-email-notifications-for-a-custom-event/

Basically, in cloud, you can't. You'll need to create custom events and manage your emails project by project.

Hope this helps

Have a nice day
