If I enter start and finish dates in a task, it does not reflect in the WBS Gatt chart, I have to re-enter those dates un the chart, Which fields in the task can I use to populate  start and finish dates in Gatt chart, I don't want to enter them twice.

Hello @Divya Saini 👋🏻

Thank you for posting - Raphael from WBS Gantt-Chart support team here.

To mirror start and due dates between Jira and WBS Gantt-Chart, you'll need to map same Jira field on WBS Gantt-Chart settings. To do so, please refer to the following steps:

  • Go to Jira top navigation menu → Cog ⚙️ icon
  • Apps
  • section WBS Gantt-Chart in left sidebar → Issue
  • Edit button on upper-right corner
  • Map the Jira fields:
    • On Start date field, select Start date
    • On Finish date field, select Due dateScreenshot 2023-12-22 at 15.44.34.png
  • Click on Update

From now on, the date values will be mirrored between Jira and WBS Gantt-Chart, Divya.

If you have any comments or questions, please feel more than free to share with us here or through our support portal 😄

Hi @Divya Saini

WBS Gantt Chat is a plugin from Atlassian Marketplace.
I would suggest reaching out to them directly so they can better assist your request:
