How can I hide jira portal groups for all while I create them?

Hi!

We have a general one Create request and request form for the project in Portal, now I want to create a Group and add there additional forms to the portal, but while I create them I need al the customers that use the main Create request not to see these groups in the process of creation. 

How can I hide them from everyone on the portal?

Here is the process I use...

1. Create all of your request types first and keep hidden from any group.
2. Then create new groups when ready to go live.
3. move new request types into desired groups
4. test that things are as desired

Hi @Vera Valshonok ,

You can go to your portal, assuming your an admin, and select the "Customize" tab on the far right. Then select "Edit HomePage Layout". You'll see all your portals there and you can click the "eye" icon to show or hide them. Ofcourse, the project must already be created for you to go in here and hide the portal from customers and you'll need to go back and unhide it when you are ready for it to be public.

Hi @Vera Valshonok 

I'm not sure this is possible at this stage.

However, I'd consider planning this as a release so it can be implemented all in one go, with minimal impact to your users.

In the meantime, if you need time to plan/design the new Request Types and grouped layout, perhaps you could use your Sandbox for this (given you're on a Premium plan)?

That way, pre-release activities won't have an impact on production/customers.
