How can we group users in JSM and enforce visibility of tickets based on group?

Sai Kumar Bacha July 5, 2023

I have two groups named A and B. the tickets raised by Group A should be visible only by the members of Group A and similarly for Group B as well. Users from different groups should not be allowed to view other group's tickets. how can we achieve this in JSM?

@Sai Kumar Bacha -

To supplement what Ajay suggested, another option is for you to establish issue security to control the issue visibility in your JSM project further -

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-issue-security-schemes/

Hope this also helps.

Hi @Sai Kumar Bacha

Have you check JSM Organizations? You can group customers into Organizations to achieve your use-case. Check out the link below

Cheers

Ajay
