Hi all
I am new to Service manager.
I want to create a list of store names that are our customers, I need to have this appear on the portal and each store must select their name before being able to continue.
You must be able to search against and report on that field.
Hi @Morne Wucherpfennig and welcome to the community!
For sure you can always create a custom field to do the job. In that specific case a single select would be the choice to go. However, you can't restrict this field according to customers. Meaning that if you want customer A to see only options 1,2 and 3 and not see the rest of the options, this will not be doable.
You could user for that matter the field organizations, only if only a customer belongs to only one organization. For example you might have the organization Atlassian. This organization would include 3 people. Then you would have another organization e.g. Amazon, which would have 5 other people (different from that of Atlassian) and so on so forth.
In that case you don't need any field. You just need to setup properly you JSM project with organizations and customers. Read more about it:
Thanks you for the assistance, got me where I needed to be. Glad to be part of the community.
