How do I remove users off Board in Work Managment

I have users that do not have permissions to my Work Management project, showing up on the board within the project.  How do I remove them?

How do you mean, showing up? 

Are there avatars shown on top? If so, than there are probably some issues assigned to those users. Perhaps they have been added by other team members or they might have joined themselves.

Have you checked if the project access is set correctly?

Perhaps you can provide us with some screenshots so we might give some more targeted advice on what might be going on.
