How do I turn off automated story updates for a specific group

I have 2 teams working in the same project.

• Group 1: member assignees want to be notified each time any changes are made to a story they are assigned to.
• Group 2: member assignees don't want to be notified when specific story updates (i.e. parent, Due date, Labels, etc.) are made to a tory they are assigned to. 

Questions:

1. If I write a rule to block Group 2 automated emails, will that rule overwrite the Scheme?
   
2. How do I select the specific fields that I want Group 2 to not be excluded from notifications when they are updated?

Hi @GlenellRosburg ,

I think you need to do it like this :

• You need to change you notification scheme so that notifications are only sent to "Group 1"
• The scheme should not include "Group 2"
• For Group 2, you should create an automation rule that is triggered upon selected events, and send an email notification from there.

I agreed with @Kris Dewachter suggested.  In the existing Notification configuration scheme, you need to remove the "Current Assignee" call out and replace the appropriate events with the call out for "Group 1" only.

For Group 2, use automation rules to setup custom notification for Group 2 users for specific fields updates (by using conditions setup).
