We have converted our portal customers to managed accounts so our users can utilize SSO when logging into our support portal. Our accounts that were originally Jira accounts reflect the Firstname Lastname structure. Converted accounts are shown as the username portion of their respective emails addresses such as "firstname@mydomain.com" and/or "firstname.lastname@mydomain.com". Is there a way to update the information to be displayed as Firstname Lastname?
This was an issue where my users weren't logging into the portal as they should have been. The users had already been migrated from portal customers in JSM to atlassian access. Once I forced them to log in to the portal, the SSO performed a just in time update to reflect the correct first and last names in the portal as it should have from the beginning.
Yeah you are correct. If the user hasn't completed the first login then they will still show as the email address but you can manually change this if you want to if some people are just never going to bother logging into the portal.

Hi @Matt Cabral
Yes, go to System > User Management > Products > Under Sites and Products select your site > Select Portal Customers.
You then have the option beside each user to Edit Full name.
