How to add bulk versions in one project?

jakeeryasmin June 13, 2023

Hello Team,

How can we add bulk versions into a project without using Script Console and Manually.

This for the On Premise not for Cloud. Any Suggestions will be helpful.

Thanks,

Thanks for writing in Atlassian community.

You can use a simple trick with CSV importer to import multiple versions in your project. Create one test issue in your project and import all the versions to this issue:

IssueKey, IssueType, Summary, FixVersion, FixVersion, FixVersion
Test-1, bug, "Third issue", v1, v2, v3

This way it will create all versions in your project.

Thanks !!

Hello Deepak,

Thanks for your response.

I have reflected the same steps which you have given, but unfortunately the versions are getting added in the ticket. It is not getting added in the project versions.

Also, after running the JQL, we are able to see the versions but when we open the ticket we are unable to find the fix versions in it.

Thanks,
