How to configure email request using microsoft accounts in jira service mangement cloud

How could i setup the custom connection using microsoft account? i tried to set the mail server and get the error

Your connection was unsuccessful

Unfortunately JIRA couldn't connect to the mail server. Here is what the mail server said: "AUTHENTICATE failed."

is there something miss steps for the configuration?

i have solved this issue recently by grant the consent permission in app registration portal azure, thanks for your reply.
