How to create attribute mapping if destination attribute is of type user

I want to create an attribute mapping to import data in Jira Assets. This works for all attributes, but the attribute "user' with type user doesn't work. Do I need to configure something in the AOL field?

Hi @Evert Morren Atlas Admin

You need to use the QM: or Assignee ID to set the "User" attribute when doing an import in Jira.

  1. Go to Atlassian Administration portal
  2. Select your site
  3. Go to Products
  4. Under Sites and Products, select your site
  5. Select Portal Customers
  6. Click Export Customers
  7. Find users QM.

To find the Assignee ID, In the same section select Directory. Click on the User.

In the URL bar, after /users/ this is the assignee's ID.

I then do a VLookup in excel to translate all the User's email addresses to QM ID and then use that in the User's attribute field to upload.

Dear Suzi,

Thanks for your reply, I have made an export and have the following:

QM.jpg

I have a user e.morren@zoa.ngo. Do I need to translate only zoa.ngo with the code behind qm: or the whole name?

The whole name.

So John.Doe@zoa.ngo will have their own unique QM string. Use the entire QM String in your user column in your upload sheet.

Then travis.barker@zoa.ngo will have their own unique QM string. Again match that against his user column in your upload sheet and so on.
