How to enable "Show in Sidebar"?

In the service management queues, some users get a symbol to open the topic in sidebar (see picture)

We tried several OS and Browsers, but it seems to be a user setting. Any idea, how to enable this for all users?

What I can find, is that this is only available in the board view in Jira software or as a detail view in a filter result. I can't seem to find anything that relates to the queue view in JSM.

Your screenshot looks like a combination of pictures. Are you sure that the users are seeing this in the queue and not in a filter result?

yes, it is definitely in the queue. In the picture I just blurred the content. I also just found articles about this topic related to boards.

It seems, that 30% of the users have this option activated. It is also independent of the project. If a user has the icon in one JSM project, he/she has it in every project. Other users with exactly the same rights don't get it.
