Hi

There's this article which shows you how you can transfer attachment data from one instance or project to another via API. Subsequently, you can use the external system importer to import only the attachment data into your Jira project.

Hi @grip jira !

Consider using a Help Desk Migration service - it can import your data from CSV files to JSM  automatedly. Here's a guide on how to do it https://help-desk-migration.com/help/import-csv-file-jira-service-desk/

The automated import tool offers a free demo to see how it works and how the data is imported.

Cheers,

Natalia

Hi @grip jira Welcome to the community!

You'll need to add a URL in the "attachments" column. The URLs for attachments support HTTP and HTTPS, and Jira needs to be able to access them. You can also use the Application installation folder, e.g. path/to/jira/home/import/attachments.

You can read about CSV imports here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/importing-data-from-csv-938847533.html

I hope that helps.

Thanks,

Melo
