Hello Team,
I have created a new project in JIRA and want to integrate it with Outlook so that any incoming email in Outlook automatically creates a new issue in JIRA. While reviewing online documentation, I found that this requires downloading a new app, which is free for one month but requires payment afterward. However, since we already have other projects in JIRA integrated with Outlook, I would appreciate your assistance in setting up this integration. The previous integration was handled by someone who has since left the company. Additionally, could you clarify which admin access is required for this setup?
Welcome to the community. Out of the box, the functionality is there. Take a look at this reference link -
Jira Application Software - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/create-issues-and-comments-from-email/
Other third party PAID add-ons are out there (example JEMH - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/4832/enterprise-mail-handler-for-jira-jemh?tab=overview&hosting=cloud) which have more extended functionality and custom options for the users as needed.
Hope this also helps.
Best, Joseph Chung Yin
Hello @Manish Kumar and welcome to the Community. You shouldn't need an app add-on for this as it's built-in to the base product. Have a look at the following documentation:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
If you need basic feature you should not need any app.
