I have 3 projects (Project A, B and C)
The workflow is:
Issue received in Project A -> Issue cloned to Project B -> Cloned issue in Project B is auto cloned to Project C
The trigger issue (i.e. the one in Project A) will only show the cloned issue in Project B under Linked issues but I was wondering whether it is possible to also list the issue in Project C under Linked issues in the trigger issue?
Hello @Nathan Yam
A very easy and efficient way to link both cloned issues to the source trigger issue is to use our app Elements Copy & Sync.
It automatically clones issues and define links between them.
You can check the guide here.
The app is for free during 30 days (and it stays free under 10 users).
Let me know if you have any question :)
Hi @Nathan Yam
If you are willing to use a third party app, you could give our app Deep Clone for Jira a shot. Deep Clone can clone issue links from the source ticket, meaning when it's cloning your issue in project B it will also create a link in the new issue in project C back to the issue A.
You can also use Jira Automations to trigger the Deep Clone to auto clone the issue in B. Read more on that here.
