How to remove software project portal from help center

We've inherited a help center that has a company managed software project tied to a portal and would like to remove the portal from the help center so customers can't access it. I can't find any details online as to how a software project has a portal but it's sitting out in the help center. Unlike Service Management projects, there are no portal settings in the project and the permissions for the software project don't include customer portal access controls. Idk how it is possible for a software project to have a portal, but has anyone else come across this scenario and know how to remove a software project portal from the help center?

JSW project can't be exposed to the help center and thus they do not have any portal for the customers. This is only valid for JSM projects. Can you post a screenshot of your project settings, as well as from the portal as well? Can you confirm that indeed when you use the portal a ticket is raised on that specific JSW project?

Thanks for the sanity check. After further inspection, the portal in question (service desk project) was named the same as a different project (software project). Eventually figured out what happened by focusing on the service projects and going through each one by one to match with a portal.

Is sounds that you either have Refined to set up your portal or you are using external resources link to add your JSW project to the portal. As you mentioned JSW does not have any portal settings.
