How to set approver on particular Access list custom field

Hi,

The problem we have is that user don't always add particular team members, they will add me for example by mistake and user doesn't know who is approver for this access custom field.

Is there any possible ways is there to set up a defined list of approvers?

Hi,

What we do is use scriptrunner to populate the approvers field when an issue is created.  We do this as ours are regionally dependent.  However, you could probably do a simpler one using a post function to update a custom field on the create issue.

On any Custom Field of type User Picker you can go into Custom Field Configuration and choose "Edit User Filtering" and filter by either Group or Project role in the particular project.
