I am using Jira Service Desk cloud version. Whenever, I create a Jira service desk project it create a customer portal with url https://xyz.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/xx. I am wondering if we can create customer portal url like https://xyz.atlassian.net/servicedesk/<clientname>/portal/ or https://xyz.atlassian.net/servicedesk/<clientname>. If we can do this, can anyone suggest what's the steps?
Hi Mukesh,
Currently, it's not possible to create a custom URL for the customer portal on Jira Cloud.
We do have a feature request suggesting the implementation of such ability:
For now, the best option is to use 301 redirects, here are some links that may help you configure it:
- Change page URLs with 301 redirects
- How to Properly Implement a 301 Redirect
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Angélica
I can't think of a decent redirect/rewrite solution for cloud.
+1 for support ticket.
