I need to have an option to see all the assets of a employee who opens a ticket.
it seems that in custom field there was a ( read only insight) field before and also one Outbound custom field.
but as I search for it now there is nothing similar to help me.
Hello @Elham Aref ,
I'm Elyes, the associate Product Manager of Elements Connect for Jira Cloud.
With our application, you can configure read-only Connected items (which are like custom fields), that takes their values from external datasources.
In your case, the datasource would be Insight, that we are able to query thanks to our Basic Authentication, and the use of an Atlassian API Token.
Therefore, after configuring the items, once a user opens a ticket, it will automatically display its assets.
Is this something that would fit your need? Would you like a demo of our app answering this use case?
Here is my calendly, feel free to reach out!
Kind regards,
Elyes
JSM Premium provides Insights which would meet your needs. If that is not an option look to the Marketplace for possible addon app. Here is info on asset management in premium - what-is-asset-management

I have Insight fully created.
But the connection between ticket system and insight depends on the Custom fields type Insight which one can use.
the problem is that, I need to make this value read only.
otherwise , customers are been forced to fill it.
creation of outbound Type is also not possible.

Just saw this as I am after the same thing, basically a static list displayed on screen for the agents to see the assets of a customer - it doesn't look like it is possible due to there only being the one type of Insight custom field.
I was trying to see if there was a way to populate a description custom field with a referenced Insight object but that just went sideways terribly.
