We are trying to do an import of data via external import CSV. We would like to retain the last values of the previous SLAs that were on those issues. They do not have to be calculated but I am having trouble trying to find the format that they should be in order to just import and map the values. The value that shows in the export shows as a decimal number. How can I re-format that and import it to a "Legacy Time to First Response" field? and if at all possible maybe a value of "breached - 8h30m" "Completed- 2h" . Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hello @Allison Smith

Thank you for reaching out.

By default, the SLA fields are not exported from Jira Cloud sites in the format displayed on your CSV export.

By default, the SLA fields are exported in the format "hh:mm", as in the example below:

Issue key  Status  Custom field (Time to first response)
 ITSAMPLE-20  Open  -671:36
 ITSAMPLE-19  Pending -671:36

That being said, I believe the SLA on your issue might be corrupted. Can you please provide us with a screenshot displaying them on Jira UI?

Also, please notice that the SLAs can not be imported directly on Jira through CSV. There's a feature request to consider this feature:

As a workaround, you may perform manual recalculation once import the issue. This will only work if all the issue history is imported as well (Using JSON instead of CSV). For more information about recalculation, kindly refer to Missing or corrupted SLA data in Jira Service Management documentation.
