We are trying to pull JSM Assets Cloud data into Power BI and not having success. We haven't gotten a Power BI Load process to complete.
We have 7 Object Types (tables), the highest nbr of objects (records) is 14,010. The table with the greatest nbr of references has under 12,000 objects. The remaining Object Types have fewer than 7,000 objects. Not a whole lot of data overall.
Have tried multiple times and now using licensed version of Power BI, received an error message after cancelling the "load" process. "A cyclic reference was encountered during evaluation." I'm investigating but wonder if anyone else has some experiences doing? Any "insights" (pun intended!) would be greatly appreciated!
@Liubov Topchyi Thank you for the suggestion, it is a good one. One member of the team was able to import the tables after turning off our VPN. My instance failed when tried with VPN off. looking at cleaning out my instance's history / discard changes and will attempt again.
Hello Chris @Chris Tetzlaff ,
If you use Power BI Connector for Jira while exporting Assets data, I would recommend contacting Power BI Connector Technical Support.
It looks like the information provided is not enough to suggest anything via community posts.

Luba
