Integrating Service Desk and Confluence Knowledge Base

Hi,

 

I've been trying to integrate our Service Desk with a Confluence knowledge base. We don't want the knowledge base to be accessible to anonymous users. However, when we disable access to anonymous users we are no longer able to search the knowledge base or link issues to articles in the knowledge base in Jira. When anonymous users are allowed access to the knowledge base, it works fine. How do you think we could prevent anonymous users from accessing the knowledge base while still being able to access it through Jira?

Hey Alex, 

Have you added all of your users to a confluence group who is able to access the spaces you are referencing? 

When you click 'manage knowledge base settings' - what happens?
