Is it possible to reference an asset from another asset schema?

Screenshot 2025-05-16 111459.pngI have an asset and I want to create an attribute that references a document from another schema. But only the objects that are in the same schema are suggested to me. Is this not possible across schemas?

Hi @Antonia ,

It is possible to create attributes where users select objects from another schema.

All of these 'sections' in the dropdown are actually different schemas (in your example, "Services" is a difference schema).

I'd recommend checking other schema settings. On the General tab there should be an open in 'Additional settings' for allowing others to select objects from this schema'. Once this option is enabled, you should be able to select object types from that schema.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Tobi
