Hi. I am able to set up JSM Chat into my company's Teams. But how will my client be able to access this chat box? Do they need to set up a Teams account? Or do they access our chat via the JSM Portal? Do we store chat history? Can we create group chats? What other functionalities do you have within Chat?
Chat (e.g. Atlassian Assist) in Teams is for Team users in the first place, and they need to have Teams account to connect with you via integrated chat.
What is interesting though, you have JSM chat widget that you can add to your website, which you can't add to JSM portal itself, but if you activate Virtual Service Agent in your widget, then you will be able to add it your JSM portal. Regarding group chats, it is a channel where Assist is added, so you cannot create groups with Assist, only channel.
Also, your chat conversations are saved as JSM tickets/issues.
