Make field editable only for certain users

Jira has no field level permissions, so there is no option to provide your request.

As mentioned by @Sebastian Krzewiński  you can set status properties within a workflow to prohibit editing, but this will apply to any usr when the issue is in that status.

Can you tell us more? when field should be editable for some users?

By default it is not possible but for some scenarios you will be able to make a workaround (e.g. field editable in some status).

hi, the case is this:
it is necessary that the due date field can only be set by scrum masters or product owners, i.e. a certain role or a selection of users. Restrict the team's ability to edit this field

I know that this can't be done with the tools from the box, but there is such a task)
