Hi @Vaibhav Panchal

Switching from Jira Service Management (JSM) to the Zoho stack works best when the migration is planned around accuracy, continuity, and minimal disruption. The goal is to get all the data you need into Zoho without losing context or slowing down your helpdesk.

Key things to sort out before you begin:

  • Scope – Decide whether you’re bringing over open tickets only or the entire history, including attachments, internal notes, and custom fields.
  • Field mapping – Align JSM fields (Summary, Status, Priority, etc.) with their Zoho counterparts.
  • User mapping – Make sure agents and related contacts are already set up in Zoho.
  • Trial runs – Test with a small dataset to ensure correct mapping before the full move.
  • Downtime strategy – Choose between a single cutover or a staged migration.

Keeping the above points in mind, you may want to explore OpsHub Migration Manager (OMM), an enterprise grade migration tool and an Atlassian Partner. You can run the migration in stages, check the results as you go, and keep JSM live until the final cutover. This approach reduces downtime, supports high fidelity and lets your team keep working without disruption while the move to Zoho is underway.

Hope it helps!

Hi @Vaibhav Panchal

Check if Zoho offers migration tool for that or what input format it accept. If not you can export tickets into csv file but you will lose comments, attachments and ticket history.

You can also get tickets via rest api but this require more scripting experience.

Seba
