Hello Community,
On the JSM User Portal, we need to create a multi-level hierarchy.
Service Name --> Service Category --> Service Sub-category --> Request Type
I am aware that Portal Groups can be used for clubbing Request Types but we need at least 2 more levels on top of the default portal group.
Kindly let me know if this is something which is possible to achieve for a cloud JSM setup.
Thanks

Hi Gaurav,
The closest you will be able to come I think is by using Groups within the portal.
The Help Center is the top Level and then you could create multiple projects (and therefore multiple portals) under that, with groups inside each portal.
But you won't be able to setup a streamlined hierarchy like that.
Hi Gaurav,
Raj from Refined here.
Based on your description, Refined for Jira cloud might be useful to consider - with this you can create sites presenting content from your Jira cloud instance, and within those Refined sites, use Refined Pages to create the:
Service Name --> Service Category --> Service Sub-category hierarchy.
And finally use a Request Types module, or one of our Navigation modules with a link to a Request Type, for the request creation.
Here's a Get Started video for the app that might be useful to take a look at if you're interested, and you could also take a look at these resources: Resources on Refined for Jira Cloud
Feel free to reach out if you need any guidance or have any questions for us: Refined support (this site runs on Refined for Jira Cloud, too)
Best regards, Raj Sehmi (Refined)

Hi @Gaurav
It’s Aleksandra from Deviniti, the vendor of the Extension app, and I will be happy to share more context.
With Dynamic forms, which as a part of Extension, you can turn Jira Service Management requests to act dynamically, and configure request types that contain fields that are dynamically displayed in response to user input. This should help you break the request form into more levels by defining relations between fields. :)
For more details, I encourage you to see this article in our online documentation about defining conditions and validators to configure fields as mandatory.
Hopefully, you will find the app beneficial!
Feel free to reach out or reply directly in this thread for more details. I will be happy to help!
Cheers,
Aleksandra
