Hello,
I need to remove the Administrator role from Administer Projects permission in our Service Desk project. I granted Single users this permission and removed the Administrator role but I get a red error saying Permission scheme error.
The reason I don't want all Administrators to be able to administer our project is for security reasons. We only one specific people to administer our Project only.
Is there a right way of doing this or dismissing this type of error?
Thank you.
You shouldn't bother to do this. If you remove the administrators, you get a warning, but there is absolutely nothing stopping an admin from granting themselves the permission. So you're simply wasting your time and theirs.

HI. Go to the config JSD and select "Yes, don't show non-critical permission scheme warnings to project administrators" (<jira-url> /secure/admin/SDConfiguration.jspa )
