Notifying user chosen at ticket creation

Hi All, 

I've created a new jira project.

I have a Manager Approval status in it. I have added a field called choose a jira manager. I would like reporters , when creating a ticket, to choose jira user ( it can be anyone) and that user to receive notification that we has to approve the ticket. 

We have a team-managed,  restricted project.

My concerns why it can't work:

1. For these internal jira , one on which will be chosen at ticket creation should be added to project as agents, but we dont have their list, it can be anyone from jira, so we can not add all the jira users as agents to this project.

2. How can we notify any user based on them being chosen in this field?

 

Are there any ways around it?

Hi @Vera Valshonok 

thanks for your questions. To approve requests, users can be customers. They do not need to have agents permissions.
