Open Jira Issue in Project from Jira Service Desk request submission

Hello, I built a JSD portal that allows internal users to submit requests for marketing tasks such as updating a web page and publishing a social media post. I now want the logic to function where after a request is submitted via the portal, an Jira Issue is automatically opened in a preselected Jira Project and automatically assigned to a predefined assignee. How can I accomplish this task?

hello, @Asaf It all depends if you are on Jira Cloud or Server.

On Jira cloud and on Server, you have automation built-ins in JSD project. 
If you are on Jira cloud, you can configure and automation and use the Create issue action. 
If you are on server, unfortunatly that action doesn't exit. 
You will have o use an add-on such as "automation for Jira".

You can, of course, use Script-runner also.
