Populate custom jira field from existing form fields

Hi all. So we have JSM request with form attached to it. And we want to link existing form fields to custom jira fields, so we can properly get data from it.

Problem is: when we link form field to jira field any new created task populates jira custom field and we see data in it. But it seems like previously created requests does not import their data in to custom field.

Is there any way to do so?
