Hey everyone, this may be a bit niche, but seems like it could be a fairly typical scenario.
In our setup we have a support portal for employee requests. The core team responds to employee requests and sometimes bring in leadership not in the core team by way of request participants. The issue here is that the leadership that is added to these tickets should also be able to tag/add individuals to the ticket as they see fit, however the reporter should not be allowed to add users to the ticket/issue.
Is there a way that this can be done? I was thinking of using organizations but I'm not sure that's an entirely viable method for this use case. Anyone run into something like this in their environment before?
@Ian Guyette I believe you are correct in that the only way to do this would be via organizations. In the Customer Permissions in JSD, you can select "Other customers in their organization" for "Who can customers share requests with?" You could then add all of the managers to an organization. The issue is if that org gets added to the issue then everyone in that org would be able to see the issue.
Gotcha, that is what I ran into. Not ideal that the default behavior for organization sharing is set at the highest level. I think this will not be our solution, as the risk of sharing with others accidentally is too high. Thanks Brant!
