When a user logs into the customer portal that has pending approvals the approvals are hidden under requests in menu. Our customers are not seeing them and our issues are not getting approved.

Is your workflow associated with an issue type? If not, do so then associated the same with a service desk project. The 'Add approval' checkbox will not appear.

The workfow is a service desk workflow and is configured for approval. The user logged into the screenshots above is viewing through the customer portal and have 1 issue pending approval.
Approval does show but only once clicking on "requests". Our employees are effectively saying that "approvals are hidden" and I have to agree that is a valid complaint.
What I am asking is: How can this menu *not* be collapsed with "approvals" showing on the menubar without needing to click?
