Automation Rule Keeps Failing ?

Hi,

I have set a Default Security Level for Issues for a Project which has a maintenance email address (which is also part of the Service Desk Team), and the Service Desk Team has permissions to view Issues, and I have an automation rule set which does the following:

For a newly created ticket :

  1. Assign it to the maintenance email address

But everytime the ticket is created the following shows in the Audit Log:

Actor does not have permission to view one or more issues, or the issue was deleted (please check permissions and issue security levels)

Anyone knows what's wrong ?

Thank You

Hi @Touqeer Anjum ,

Please add your automation rule actor to the required security levels.

Security schemes blocks access to any ticket if a user is not part of the security Level.

To know the actor for the automation rule, go to project settings --> automation, Open the automation rule and you can find actor section.

We usually use a service user like Jira Automation for actor and grant the required access to the projects.
