I have a JSM request system that I want to add something list of products to. Approximately 10,000 products. I also want that list restricted by a previous selection -- so they cannot add incorrect products, eg., Type A products will presort my list to those products that are Type A, Type B will only allow Type B, etc...
What are my options?
Thanks in advance
Also note-- I will need to maintain the master list outside of Jira so it can be easily maintained and updated.
Hello @Nelson Abbey
Have you taken a look at the app Elements Connect? You can populate a field with data from an external source (like a database where you maintain the master list) and set up cascading dependent lists so users first select a product type, then in a second field only see products that match the selection of the 1st field.
(Full disclosure: I work for the vendor).
