Using JSM for customer service.
I want to set rules for customer requests to be automatically assigned to their respective account manager based on the email domain. How do I do this? Also, can I set up customer profiles?
Do you use Organizations to align with domains? If so define your queues to align with Organizations. If you wish to assign to specific agents the use Automation.
if your organizations are not aligned on domains then consider using a custom field to capture the domain of reporter. Try using Automation to extract the domain and copy into your custom field. Here is a post that discusses this approach - How-to-copy-domain-to-a-custom-field . Then use the custom field to associate issues to your agents.
note - you appear to be on free version which limits your automation rules per day so yo7 likely will hit the limit with my recommendations.
