I have a form on a project, that the user is requesting to see information from on the Dashboard. There are a couple different fields they are hoping to see on the Dashboard, but im not sure how that would work. The only thing I can think of is to use "Link Jira Field" but then that starts creating some redundancy in the ticket/issue.

Hi @robert cortez - You are correct that you would need to link the form field to a Jira field. At this time, the form is meant purely as a supplemental feature to help provide more context to an individual request so it is not designed for processing or reporting.

@Mark Segall - Are there plans to make unlinked form fields reportable? I'm seeking to NOT create a proliferation of Jira fields used by team managed projects.
Should that be a concern at this point or do you recommend creating and linking to Jira fields whenever a form field needs to be reportable even if it is a 1-off field in a team managed project?

Unfortunately, I don't have insight to the longterm plans for forms. I imagine that in addition to the technical aspects of blending their proforma acquisition further into the Jira core code, they also need to factor data sensitivity into the equation.
